THE STAIRS & LOFT
Hand crafted treads and railings.
The rhythm of the pickets.
Note the white chinking on the interior walls.
(March 5, 2009) A wide Northern white pine stairway now ascends up into the stratosphere of our cabin's gables.  Brent has spent many hours rough planning the banisters to replicate the old hand hewn look.

Up in the loft is where Brent's watercolor studio will locate and hopefully tons of creative work will emulate from.

Our progress on the final stages of our build has been slow and frustrating.  Some final trim work, fireplace hearth rock, more electrical tasks, back porch finishing and some minor plumbing is all we are waiting for.  We want it done and we're waiting with finger's crossed that we'll move in by spring.
