Christmas 2008

December 25, 200
Work continues and we still don't have our heat, so the fireplace will have to do.

Roger our electrician installed a few roughed in light bulbs to help light our holiday celebration.  Kathy's appliances are installed, the fireplace is operable and a beautiful mortised thick treaded stairs allow access to the loft.  My parents joined us along with our son Hunter and his special friend Victoria.  A number of our friends dropped by to celebrate with Christmas cheer and the corkscrew did not rest.

The roaring heat from the oak logs did an amazing job at cutting the December chill, but without fans in the loft and great room, our heat rose to the loft.

This was a special Christmas as our log home finally nears completion.
